TOMORROW IS THE MAGIC DAY!

Yep, kids...believe it or not, we have been open for 365 days!

Unbelievable! And we have survived mostly in tact. There will be some emotional and mental scarring that we will have to live with...but we look upon them as badges of honor!

That equals 52 weekly schedules, 52 dry good orders, 104 dairy orders and 730 pastry orders! Yipes!

The store is doing AMAZINGLY well and we couldn't be happier :) Our staff is fun and energetic and the weather is fantastic...you can't beat 75 degrees in February!

We can hardly believe the crazy adventure ride we have been on for the past 12 months. We've gone from 126 hour work weeks to "normal" working hours (Jen is down to 40-60). Marc has been returned to the professional world and Jen is loving the newly promoted assistant managers and shift leads to share the burden of running the store.

We could not have done this without all of your support, love, and extreme understanding (for unreturned emails, unreturned phone calls, canceled dinner dates, distracted conversation and putting up with our general insanity)! We love you all very much and promise that the self-imposed "one year sentence" is over and we will happily be returned to normal social activity as soon as we get out of quarantine.
